“We’re all just walking each other home.” ~ Ram Dass
Grounded in Embodiment was born from my personal healing journey, shaped by both my own growth and decades of experience as a therapist. While reflecting and analyzing have always helped me make sense of myself and my experiences, I eventually realized that these strengths also kept me trapped in my mind, disconnected from my body and, in turn, my emotions. This realization marked a turning point in my journey, leading me to explore and embrace more embodied approaches to healing.
As I began to integrate my body into my healing process through practices like authentic movement, yoga, Somatic Experiencing, and The Tamura Method, I realized that my body was not just a vessel for my feelings and experiences, but a space where different parts of me resided. This realization sparked a deep curiosity about the connection between our early experiences and the belief systems they shape. I became especially interested in how and where our bodies store these experiences, how different parts of ourselves organize around them, and how this influences our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us.
I bring this curiosity to my work, rooted in the belief that true healing unfolds through connection. Collaboration is central to my approach, as I believe in working together to uncover and nurture the inherent capacities for health and healing that already reside within each person.
I am deeply grateful to witness the process of transformation as well as the amazement, beauty, and resilience of the human spirit.
